Arkansas State Police Corporal Nicholas Brown, 39, of Faulkner County was promoted today to the rank of sergeant. The recommendation for promotion was presented to the Arkansas State Police Commission by Colonel Bill Bryant, state police director.
Sergeant Brown is a 14-year veteran of the department and most recently has been assigned to the Administrative Services Division, Training Section. He will assume new duties assigned as a post supervisor within Highway Patrol Division, Troop A.
