Christopher Weston, 37, was taken into custody by Arkansas State Police Special Agents and Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputies last night in connection with a June 2016 homicide. He is charged with murder (1st degree).
Weston’s arrest follows a six-month long investigation into the death of Ricky Partin whose body was discovered in a wooded area along Johnson County Road 1723 near the Johnson and Perry County line.
Weston had been in custody on unrelated charges at the Calico Rock Unit of the Arkansas Department of Correction when state police and sheriff’s deputies made him aware of the murder charge and returned him last night (January 5th) to the Johnson County Detention Center.
