The ASCL is now accepting applications for the 2022 Summer Undergraduate Internship Program. The program will span from early June to mid/late July.
This is a 6-8 week program that allows undergraduate students with a strong scientific education to gain hands-on experience. Those selected for the program get a ‘real world’ glance at the different career paths available in forensic science. During the program, interns will focus on a research project and shadow analysts in their assigned discipline. This year those disciplines are Forensic Toxicology, Forensic Drug Chemistry, Latent Prints, and DNA/Firearms. At the end of the program each intern will present the results of their assigned project(s) to the ASCL staff.
