On April 25, 1987, Sandra Lynn Williams left her home in Beebe between 4 and 4:30 p.m. to travel to her boyfriend’s house located near Quitman. After failing to show up, her charcoal-gray 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme was found abandoned on the side of Arkansas Highway 31 about a half mile north of Romance in White County. Two weeks later, her body was discovered about 3 miles south of where her car had been located. She had been stabbed.
