Three Arkansas State Troopers were promoted to the rank of sergeant today during a meeting of the Arkansas State Police Commission. The recommendations for promotion were presented to the commissioners by Colonel Bill Bryant, Director of the Arkansas State Police.
Corporal Jeremy Roberts, 42, of Faulkner County, was promoted to the rank of sergeant, assigned to the department’s Executive Protection Section.
Sergeant Roberts is a 20 year veteran of the department.
Corporal Jeff Preston, 43, of Jefferson County, was promoted to the rank of sergeant, assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop E. He will serve as a post supervisor.
Sergeant Preston is an 18 year veteran of the department.
Corporal David Outlaw, 41, of Drew County, was promoted to the rank of sergeant, assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop F. He will serve as a post supervisor.
Sergeant Outlaw is a 10 year veteran of the department.
