Arnold LaRon White Sr., 55, of Monticello has been arrested and is being held at the Drew County Detention Center on manslaughter charges in connection with a homicide investigation being lead by Special Agents of the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division.
Authorities within the Monticello Police Department contacted state police today (Tuesday, November 14, 2017) requesting assistance in the investigation into the death of Harold Miller Jr., 54, also of Monticello.
A shooting incident involving both men was reported to Monticello Police about 12:25 PM today at 513 West Shelton where officer found officers found Miller dead.
Miller’s body will be transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for purposes of an autopsy. The state police will prepare an investigative file and submit the findings to the Drew County prosecuting attorney.
