Arkansas State Police Sergeant Roby Rhoads has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant and will assume duties as assistant commander of the department’s Administrative Services Division, headquartered at Little Rock.
The recommendation for promotion was presented to the Arkansas State Police Commission by Colonel Bill Bryant, director of the state police, during a regular monthly meeting with commissioners today.
Lieutenant Rhoads, 47, of Perry County, is an eighteen year veteran of the department. His most recent assignment has been serving as the state police training coordinator.
