Corporal Raymond Triplett, 45, of Benton County, was promoted to the rank of sergeant during a meeting of the Arkansas State Police Commission in Little Rock today.  The commissioners received the recommendation for promotion from Colonel Bill Bryant, state police director.

  Sergeant Triplett is a 23 year veteran of the department and will remain assigned to the Highway Patrol Division, Troop L, headquartered at Lowell.  He will assume new duties as a post supervisor in northwest Arkansas.
