Arkansas State Police Special Agent (Corporal) Robert Middleton has been promoted to the rank of sergeant. The recommendation for promotion was presented to the Arkansas State Police Commission by Colonel Bill Bryant, state police director.
Commissioners accepted and approved the recommendation during their regular monthly meeting today at Little Rock.
Special Agent Middleton, 42, of Pulaski County, is a 12 year veteran of the department assigned to Criminal Investigation Division, Company A, headquartered at Little Rock. S/A Middleton will remain assigned to Company A, but in a supervisory position. Company A investigates major felony crimes in twelve central and east Arkansas counties.
