SPRINGDALE, Ark. — The Arkansas Division on Law Enforcement Standards and Training proudly announces the graduation of Class 2025-B from the Northwest Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy (ALETA).

This distinguished class includes 35 cadets representing 15 law enforcement agencies from across the region. Today’s ceremony marks the culmination of extensive training, discipline, and personal commitment as these individuals prepare to enter the law enforcement profession.
Throughout the 13-week academy, cadets received approximately 650 hours of instructional and practical training in areas such as criminal and constitutional law, firearms proficiency, emergency response, physical fitness, defensive tactics, and ethical decision-making. ALETA’s program is designed to prepare officers to meet the evolving challenges of modern policing while promoting trust and accountability within the communities they serve.
“Be a leader, not because it’s easy, but because it’s right,” said Bentonville Police Chief Ray Shastid, who served as the ceremony’s guest speaker.
