(LITTLE ROCK) – Thirty-six Arkansas State Police Trooper Recruits have graduated tonight and will arrive in the coming days at their new assignments within the department’s Highway Patrol Division. The graduates are filling highway patrol vacancies in 21 different Arkansas counties.
The recruits initially reported to the Arkansas State Police Training Academy in Little Rock on February 24, 2019 and have accumulated 1,127 hours of specialized training.
Jami Cook, Secretary of the Arkansas Department of Public Safety addressed the recruits along with Colonel Bill Bryant, Director of the Arkansas State Police.
Arkansas Supreme Court Chief Justice John Dan Kemp administered the Oath of Arkansas State Trooper to the recruit graduates.
Other dignitaries present for the ceremony included representatives of the Arkansas State Police Commission, state police deputy directors, and division, troop and company commanders assigned across the statewide department.
Graduates of the Arkansas State Police 2018 Troop School are:
- Trevor Dew, 27, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop G, Hempstead County. He is a graduate of Taylor High School. Trooper Dew served as recruit class leader.
- Brady Bates, 21, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop B, Lawrence County. He is a graduate of Highland High School and Black River Technical College.
- Nathan Bradley, 36, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop C, Mississippi County. He is a graduate of North Arkansas College.
- Cody Brown, 27, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop B, White County. He is a graduate of Searcy High School.
- Nick Burleson, 33, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop E, Jefferson County. He is a graduate of Shady Oaks High School and North Arkansas College.
- Garett Brock, 24, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop F, Union County. He is a graduate of Alpena High School.
- Jess Burris, 25, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop D, Woodruff County. He is a graduate of Southside Bee Branch High School.
- Donnie Cheers, 37, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop D, Crittenden County. He is a graduate of Earle High School and Arkansas State University.
- Justin Cherry, 28, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop F, Union County. He is a graduate of Columbia Christian High School and Southern Arkansas University.
- Shane Caviness, 28, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop E, Jefferson County. He is a graduate of Cabot High School.
- Ethan Carlton, 28, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop A, Faulkner County. He is a graduate of West Side High School.
- Ervin Clokey, 24, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop J, Van Buren County. He is a graduate of Clarksville High School.
- Kristen Dumont, 32, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop J, Conway County. She is a graduate of David Prouty High School and Quinsigamond Community College (Massachusetts).
- Dakota Davis, 22, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop A, Pulaski County. He is a graduate of Mountain View High School and Arkansas Tech University.
- Kyle Ellison, 29, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop A, Pulaski County. He is a graduate of Bryant High School.
- Hunter Glover, 21, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop F, Union County. He is a graduate of Greenbrier High School.
- Heath Gurley, 26, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop D, St. Francis County. He is a graduate of Huntsville High School and The University of Arkansas.
- Clint Henderson, 22, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop C, Mississippi County. He is a graduate of Harrison High School.
- Marshall Hill, 23, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop L, Benton County. He is a graduate of Missouri Southern State University.
- Skyler McElroy, 26, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop H, Scott County. He is a graduate of Magazine High School and Arkansas Tech University.
- Trevaughn Moore, 23, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop F, Cleveland County. He is a graduate of Hampton High School and Southern Arkansas University.
- Tyler Nelson, 24, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop D, Crittenden County. He is a graduate of Alma High School.
- Brady Nuckles, 23, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop J, Van Buren County. He is a graduate of Hartville High School.
- Keri Permenter, 27, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop A, Pulaski County. She is a graduate of Harmony Grove High School and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
- Daniel Parker, 25, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop D, Phillips County. He is a graduate of Danville High School and Arkansas Tech University.
- Terrell Pratt, 27, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop E, Arkansas County. He is a graduate of Pine Bluff High School and Southeast Arkansas College.
- Misael Ramos, 24, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop A, Pulaski County. He is a graduate of Gurdon High School.
- Mason Redding, 25, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop L, Washington County. He is a graduate of Paris High School.
- Ty Roberson, 21, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop I, Boone County. He is a graduate of Jasper High School and Arkansas Tech University.
- Robert Sanford, 35, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop A, Pulaski County. He is a graduate of Bradford High School and Arkansas State University.
- Tyler Smith, 23, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop E, Jefferson County. He is a graduate of Pine Bluff High School.
- Zenda Staab, 22, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop L, Washington County. She is a graduate of the Providence Academy High School and the University of Arkansas.
- Dustin Starkey, 34, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop B, White County. He is a graduate of Rose Bud High School.
- Kirt Williams, 26, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop L, Carroll County. He is a graduate of Calico Rock High School.
- Tyler Williams, 23, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop A, Pulaski County. He is a graduate of Ozark High School.
- Anthony Worn, 24, will be assigned to Highway Patrol Division, Troop A, Pulaski County. He is a graduate of Catholic High School and Arkansas Tech University.
