There is no evidence of life-threatening inflicted injury or internal injury, according to the associate medical examiner who conducted the autopsy of Deitric Williams.

A comprehensive investigation into the in-custody death of Mr. Williams, which occurred in Conway on July 17th, is being conducted by Arkansas State Police’s Criminal Investigation Division. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

Both Arkansas State Police and the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory are part of the Department of Public Safety.
