Lieutenant David Moore, 54, of Crittenden County has been promoted to the rank of captain. He will assume new duties as commander of Arkansas State Police Highway Patrol Division, Troop D, headquartered at Forrest City.
The recommendation for promotion was presented for consideration to the Arkansas State Police Commission today by Colonel Bill Bryant, Director of the Arkansas State Police.
Captain Moore is a 23 year veteran of the department and most recently has served as Troop D, assistant troop commander.
