VAN BUREN, Mo. — During the Click It or Ticket Seat Belt high-visibility enforcement campaign, which will take place from May 31, 2024, to June 2, 2024, law enforcement officers from various jurisdictions will actively enforce seat belt laws. The primary goal of this campaign is to emphasize the importance of wearing seat belts for drivers and passengers. By buckling up, individuals can significantly reduce the risk of sustaining severe injuries or even fatalities in the event of a collision.
WHEN: Noon to 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2024.
WHERE: Ozark Scenic Riverway National Park Headquarters, 404 Watercress Drive, Van Buren, Missouri. The event will take place inside the pavilion of the Ozark National Park.
WHAT: The Ozark National Park Rangers from Arkansas and Missouri and identified law enforcement agencies surrounding the Park will participate in HVE saturation patrols in and around the park, emphasizing unrestrained drivers.
