Special Agents with the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division, along with the Stuttgart Police Department, are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred at approximately 3:20 yesterday afternoon (Sunday, November 26th, 2017) at 400 North Lowe Street in Stuttgart.
Stuttgart Police Officers responded to the above address where they found Charles Lindel Ice, 39, of Stuttgart, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Ice was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The body was transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determined manner and cause of death.
According to initial witness statements, Ice was involved in a physical altercation with Morgan McDonald, 30 of Stuttgart, before the shooting occurred. McDonald was located late yesterday evening, and taken into custody by the Arkansas State Police and the Stuttgart Police Department. McDonald is being held at the Arkansas County Detention Center on charges of First Degree Murder and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
The investigation is continuing.
