Today, the Arkansas State Police (ASP) held a solemn ceremony to honor and remember the brave Troopers who gave their lives in the line of duty while serving and protecting the people of Arkansas. The ceremony was attended by ASP personnel and Troopers, who paid their respects and offered condolences to the families of the fallen heroes. 

During the ceremony, each Trooper who made the ultimate sacrifice was honored with a single red rose presented to their family members who were in attendance. Today’s ceremony reminded us of the bravery and dedication of these Troopers, who put their lives on the line every day to keep their community safe.

Since 1948, 21 Troopers and two canines have died while serving the State of Arkansas. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten, and they will always be remembered as heroes.
