North Little Rock, AR— Homeowners and renters in Arkansas, Faulkner, Lonoke, Mississippi, Poinsett, Pope, and Pulaski counties affected by the severe storms and straight-line winds on June 25, 2023, may be eligible for disaster assistance through the State of Arkansas Individual Assistance program.
Individuals whose primary residence was destroyed or made uninhabitable will be able to apply for assistance beginning Monday, November 20 through Friday, December 1, 2023. In order for homeowners and renters to be eligible for state disaster assistance funds, applicants must also apply for assistance through the Small Business Administration.
Assistance may include home repairs, cleaning, household debris removal, and personal property repair. Businesses, second homes, vacation homes, vehicles, sheds and outbuildings are NOT eligible for the Arkansas Individual Assistance program.
Affected residents can apply by dialing 2-1-1 or 866-489-6983, TEXTING their ZIP code to 898-211, or visiting arkansas211.org. Applicants will need to provide the address of the damaged home, insurance information, and detailed damage information. Residents will also be asked to provide a phone number and email address.
