On October 19, 1963, the body of Francis Ruby Lowery Stapleton was discovered in a dry creek bed located on Bull Creek in White County. She had been abducted on October 8, 1963, from a laundromat in Searcy. During the course of the investigation, it was learned that she was murdered.
