On April 25, 1994, the body of Eddie G. Everette was found in a brushy area near the intersection of County Road 706 and Monument Road in Union County. He had been stabbed. He was last seen alive on April 19, 1994, at a residence in Strong. He then left with two men to travel to Louisiana. He was reported missing by his girlfriend on April 20, 1994.
