The Field Operations Branch is committed to assist and support local jurisdictions in all phases of emergency management by providing an Area Coordinator to work directly in the field across the state. The area coordinators are the eyes, ears and response arm of the agency. This branch provides assistance, coordination, guidance and information to local governments to help expand and promote emergency management programs. During emergencies, the Area Coordinator responds to the impacted county to provide assistance, support and coordination with the state EOC for resource requests and to act as a field liaison representing the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management.
